Non-stick pans
Non-stick pans support a healthy diet. They fry easily, require little fat and are easy to clean. Calabria pans have a PTFE non-stick coating and are PFOA-free*. They have good non-stick properties, making them scratch-resistant and insensitive, so even metal spatulas cannot damage them.

Features of saucepans
Non-stick coating
When manufacturing pans with PTFE non-stick coating, several layers with non-stick effect are applied to the base material. The pans are durable and wear-resistant. Good non-stick properties, no sticking or burning for gentle frying of delicate foods

The base design with even heat distribution and long heat retention ensures energy-saving cooking. The pots are also suitable for all types of cooking.
Ergonomic handle
The handles of Silit saucepans are shaped to fit comfortably and securely in the hand and distribute the weight correctly. The handles also have flame protection for use on gas hobs.
Instructions for use and care
Only use the highest heat setting for heating, switch back in good time and fry at medium or low heat settings. Use heat-resistant oils and fats for frying. The correct frying temperature has been reached when the fat is distributed in stripes in the pan. When frying meat, press it down lightly. It will initially stick to the base of the pan. After a short time, the fibres contract, the meat comes loose and can be easily turned. You can deglaze the frying residues with wine or broth. This will dissolve and provide a good base for the sauce.
Clean the pan as soon as possible after use with water, detergent and a sponge. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners containing sand. Stubborn food residues should be soaked.
